Welcome. My name is Shelley Tudin, an accomplished artist and first time published author of “You’re Too Cute to be Disabled” – Living with Limb-girdle Muscular Dystrophy, released by iUniverse in March 2012. For years, Shelley would hear comments like "you're too pretty to be in a wheelchair". She felt honoured people viewed her as pretty but knew their comments were backhanded compliments. What does her disability have to do with her looks? Are all disabled people supposed to be unattractive? Something to think about! Please browse through my website, gallery of artwork including original watercolours and acrylics, limited edition prints, cards, and tags. Check out upcoming shows, motivational speaking engagements or join a conversion on my blog. If you would like more information about artwork, my autobiography or interested in a guest speaker for an engagement; use the contact page to reach me. Thank you for visiting. |
